“I’ve
been swimming for over 40 yrs and this is the first time I’ve
understood how I can breathe”
J.G., Band promoter, Brighton
I had signed myself up for a 4km race for charity and then discovered on training that everyone else was swimming faster with a lot less effort than I was and I was probably not going to make it in the allotted time. Shaw Method swimming was recommended to me by the relaxed open water swimmers I was training with & envied so I decided to give it a go. In just a few lessons Clare had taught me how to break down my stroke and how to concentrate on my position in the water with simple, easy to remember techniques. The result was finishing the race with 20 minutes to spare and a new enjoyment of swimming.
N.N., Education Consultant, Lewes

She has pulled apart my front crawl and given me a new stroke technique that allows me to move through the water with much more efficiency and enjoyment. She is a great teacher and I recommend Shaw Method lessons with Kath, to anyone who really wants to get more out of their swimming." A.H., Alexander Technique Teacher, Hove
